Ganesh Festival Was Started Initially By Freedom Fighters From Belgaum Govindrao Yalgi And Gangadhar Rao Deshpande First Planned To Host Ganesha Festival As A Public Event In 1905 For The Cause Of Uniting The People Of All Faiths To Fight Against The British. The First ‘Sarvajanik’ Ganesha Idol Was Installed At Govindrao Yalgi’s Residence.In 1906,They Invited The Freedom Fighter Bal Gangadhar Tilak Who Had Popularised Celebration Of The Ganesha Festival As A Public Event To Mobilise The Freedom Fighters.
In The Good Old Days Ganesh Festival Was A Purely Family Affair.
The Inventor Of Ashirvad Ganesh Is Mr. Madhusudan Dhumal.
In 1969 Mr.Madhusudan Rao Dhumal A True Believer Of Lord Ganesha, Against His Family Wish Decided To Celebrate Ganesha Festival With Backing And Support From Late ShrimatiAnandiBaiDevlekar And Her Son Shri.RatnakarDevlekar He Managed Successfully.

In 1970 With A Great Enthusiasm He Formed A Bal Hanuman Yuvak Mandal Along With 04/05 Friends, And The Popularity Kept Increasing Year By Year.
In 1979 All Active And Young Bal Hanuman Yuvak Mandal Group Decided To Rename Their Mandal To Hanuman Yuvak Mandal With Same Agenda Of Tradition Which Introduce A New Concept Of Artistic Representation Of Lord Ganesha Idol. Same Year With The Blessings Of Late. Shri Param Pujya Dongre Maharaj Who Performed A Puja With Traditional Shastrokt Rituals, The Lord Ganesh Idol With Mirror Glass (13 Feet Height) Was Famous All Over The World With The Help Of BBC News Channel And DD National, Which Was Inspiration To Other Youth Organizations And Then There Was No Looking Back.
In 1986 All Dhumal Brothers Decided To Shift The Location Of Ganesh Sthapana From Dandia Bazar Main Road To Dhumal House (Hari Nivas) Outside Where The Special Space Allocated For Lord Ganesha SthapanaAnd From There Though It Was In House Premises, Ganesh Festival Was Celebrated As Same As Before Hanuman Yuvak Mandal Sarvajanik Ganesh Utsav And At The Same Time Mr. Harish B. Dhumal A Younger Brother Of Mr. Madhusudan Dhumal Has Taken Charge Of Hanuman Yuvak Mandal As He Was Creator Of Ganesh Idols And Still He Is Coming Up With New Creation And Different Ideas Every Year.
As The Years Passed There Are Lot Of Developments Taking In The Hanuman Yuvak Mandal Along With Sarvajanik Ganesh Utsav,Mandal Was Taking Active Participation In Social Work As Well. Considering All This In 1995 Mr. Harish B. Dhumal And All Other Members Of Hanuman Yuvak Mandal Decided To Rename The Mandal And Form A Trust. There After It Was Named As Shrimant Siddhi Vinayaka Public Charitable Trust (Shrimant S.V.P.C. Trust) And The Name Of The Ganpati Was Given As Ashirvad Ganesh.Mr. Ravi Patil As First President Of Trust And Dhumal Brothers As A Trustee, Working With Great Responsibility For The Society.
Conducting Dharmik Vidhies Like Ganesh Yagya On The Birth Anniversary Of Shri Lord Ganesha And Sunderkand On The Birth Anniversary Of Shri Lord Hanumana By Param Pujya Shri Ashwin Pathakji With The Presence Of Barodians In The Heart Of City.

Now Dhumal Brothers Had Purchased A Own Property Next To Hari Nivas For Ganesh Festival ,Trust Office , Yoga Medical And Health Care Centre, After Having Own Office SVPC Trust Will Work More Efficiently For The Welfare Of Mankind.
The Main Aim Of Trust Is To Maintain And Keep Intact On Traditional Values Of The Ganesh Utsav, And Benefitting To Our India And Sanskar Nagari Vadodara To Have Privilege Of Witnessing Dharmik And Sanskruitk Vidhies In Same Old Traditional Manner And To Serve Mankind.
